This works just great, and has all standard fittings so the connection and setup is pretty easy, and shouldn't necessitate a trip to the hardware store, at least it didn't for me. It has really good output, and while it may not boil you like a lobster, it's certainly quite comfortable to shower in or wash dishes, your hands, etc.
But my favorite part about this is the remote that comes with it. It's amazing! Ok, I may have a bit of an unnatural attraction to things with remote controls - my toilet has a remote control, for instance, *swoon* - but this is a little information center that tells you all kinds of things, like water temp coming in, going out, flow rate, etc. It's super-easy to read, if it is a bit busy, which I frankly don't mind lots of information. I couldn't help but geek out on the remote.
Come for the hot water...stay for the remote. I'm a fan of both. 5 stars.
It came in on time. I'm very impressed with how nice this unit is. Easy to hook up. I would never go back to the suburban style tank again. Very pleased!
We got this tankless water heater for our camper about 3 months ago and I absolutely love it!! It only takes a few seconds for the water to heat up and then you have continuous hot water. It fits perfectly in the same spot that the original water heater tank was in. And it was very easy for my boyfriend to install it.
This unit is very sturdy and very well built, easily worth the price. It fit in perfectly as a replacement, I didn't have to modify anything really. It's so nice to be able to have hot water on demand instead of waiting for it to heat up, which could always been an issue when I fail to plan such things. Water flow is as you would expect for a smaller water heater but more than enough pressure for a small RV. The controller is a very nice touch and gives a lot of information that you would otherwise have to wonder about. I'm very satisfied with my order and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is still using the old style of water heater with the tank. Switch to this and you will be so happy!
This is a great propane water heater and exactly what we needed to get our old camper back in action again and ready for the camping season. The water heater is very easy to install and fits right into your existing mounting cubby. Once you get her hooked up the hot water is literally instantaneous and quickly you have a shower or dishes going. The heater puts out a ton of water too, like a hose from your front yard, I was surprised by how quickly it could heat and deliver water. Functionally this is a fantastic heater, and we love the control module too for setting the temperature. Highly recommend and very valuable water heater.
