But I can see that this ultra fine coffee powder would be ideal for making Turkish coffee. For my espresso machine the medium range grinds are ideal, and the coarse setting is great for pour-over coffee. I believe this would also be the right setting for drip coffee. I continue using my manual hand grinder when I need extra coarse coffee for French press (not often).
When following up by email with a representative from AMZchef they confirmed "our coffee grinder is mainly used with espresso machines" which makes sense given the portafilter holder attachment.
